OTTAWA, ON – The Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League is pleased to announce that Nate Curson of the Athens Aeros is the Week 12 Source for Sports Player of the Week, earning the honour for the second time this season.
The 2007 born Mallorytown, ON native totaled 4 goals and 3 assists in 2 games this past week. He began the week with a 4 points (2G, 2A) effort in the Aeros 7-1 triumph over Arnprior on Friday before adding another 3 points (2G, 1A), which included the game-winning goal in the Aeros 6-3 victory over Casselman on Sunday.
Curson leads all EOJHL rookies on the year with 39-points (22G, 17A) in 27-games of action, which also places him in a tie for third overall among all league skaters.
