OTTAWA, ON – The Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League is pleased to announce that Rhett Palmer of the Athens Aeros is the Week 13 Source for Sports Player of the Week.
The 2004 born Canton, NY native totaled totaled 9 points (5G, 4A), helping the Aeros to 4 out of 6 possible points this past week. Palmer scored 4-goals to begin the week, helping Athens to an 8-2 road victory over Ottawa, he then added 1 goal and 1 assist in a road victory over Arnprior, before finishing his week with 3 assists in a 4-3 loss to Perth on Sunday.
In just 26 games this season, Palmer now sits third overall in EOJHL scoring with 45 points (20G, 25A).
