Smiths Falls, ON – In a tightly contested Game 4, the Casselman Vikings leaned on timely scoring and another steady performance from Myles Boudreau to defeat Smiths Falls 2–1 on the road. With the win, Casselman now holds a 3–1 series lead and sits one victory away from the Barkley Cup.

Special teams made the difference early.
Late in the opening frame, Simon Toupin broke the deadlock with a shorthanded marker, finishing unassisted at 17:47 to give Casselman a 1–0 lead heading into the intermission.
After a scoreless second period, Smiths Falls found their response early in the third. Timothy Bourne buried his ninth of the playoffs at 8:03, finishing a setup from Caleb Bourne to even the game at 1–1.
But the tie didn’t last long.
Just 1:38 later, Téo Webb restored Casselman’s lead, capitalizing off feeds from Cédric Ouimet and Casey Hayward to make it 2–1 — a goal that would stand as the winner.
Myles Boudreau once again delivered when it mattered most, turning aside 25 of 26 shots to backstop the victory.
At the other end, Beckett Campbell was outstanding despite the loss, stopping 37 of 39 shots and giving Smiths Falls every chance to stay in the game.
Game 5 is set for Saturday, April 11 at 7:30 PM in Casselman, where the Vikings will look to close out the series and capture the Barkley Cup on home ice.
