Arnprior Packers Cameron Sheppard Named 2025-26 EOJHL Rookie of the Year

Ottawa, ON – The Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League (EOJHL) is pleased to announce that Cameron Sheppard of the Arnprior Packers has been named the 2025-26 EOJHL Rookie of the Year.

The Rookie of the Year Award is presented annually to the league’s top first-year player among 2007, 2008, and 2009-born athletes.

In his first season of junior hockey, the 2009-born Stittsville, ON native delivered an immediate and undeniable impact. Sheppard recorded 37 goals and 91 points in 41 games, leading all rookies in both categories while finishing among the league’s overall scoring leaders.

His dynamic offensive presence helped propel Arnprior to a Richardson Division championship, completing one of the most impressive turnarounds in the league this season.

Stepping into the EOJHL as a 16-year-old and instantly becoming a top offensive contributor speaks to Sheppard’s maturity, skill, and ability to elevate his team from day one.

The EOJHL congratulates Cameron Sheppard and the Arnprior Packers on a remarkable rookie campaign.
