Arnprior Packers Ethan Smith Named 2025-26 EOJHL Most Valuable Player

Ottawa, ON – The Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League (EOJHL) is pleased to announce that Ethan Smith of the Arnprior Packers has been named the 2025-26 EOJHL Most Valuable Player.

The 2006-born Stittsville, ON native delivered a historic offensive season, leading the EOJHL with 47 goals, 59 assists, and 106 points in just 41 games. Smith’s 2.59 points per game ranked first in the league and paced one of the most dynamic offenses in recent memory.

Beyond the numbers, Smith’s impact was undeniable. He consistently drove play, produced in key moments, and served as a catalyst in Arnprior’s remarkable turnaround season — helping the Packers capture the Richardson Division title after missing the playoffs the year prior.

Smith’s combination of elite production, consistency, and influence on team success made him the clear choice for the league’s highest individual honour.

The EOJHL congratulates Ethan Smith and the Arnprior Packers on a truly outstanding season.
