Barkley Cup Playoffs | Carleton Place advances, Casselman takes series lead

 

Ottawa, ON – Two games of EOJHL playoff action on Saturday night saw the Carleton Place Jr Canadians advance with their elimination victory over Richmond, while Casselman took a 3-2 series lead against Ottawa.

Carleton Place 1 Richmond 0 – Carleton Place wins series 4-1

Carleton Place only needed one goal and it came off the stick of Zach Lapier, while Charlie Larocque made 29-saves for the shutout victory. Sam Nolan finished with 20-saves in the losing effort for Richmond.

 

Casselman 4 Ottawa 3 – Casselman leads series 3-2

Casselman had goals from Mathieu Cloutier, Dominic Martin, Nicolas Elie, and Vincent Bastien, while Dominic Amodeo made 26-saves for the victory. Ottawa had goals from Dylan Turcotte, Daniel Kyte, and Danik Marion, while Derrick Champagne made 47-saves in the loss.
