Barkley Cup Playoffs | Carleton Place, Casselman, and Richmond Sunday winners

 

Ottawa, ON – Three games of EOJHL Playoff action on Sunday evening saw victories from Carleton Place, Casselman, and Richmond, who all took 1-0 series leads in Divisional Semi-Final action.

Carleton Place 4 Renfrew 3 – Carleton Place leads best-of-seven series 1-0

Carleton Place had two goals from Truan Conrad, singles from William McCulligh and Zach Lapier, while Charlie Larocque made 34-saves in the victory. Renfrew had a hat-trick from Ryan Ladouceur, while Lucas Cardiff-Bilodeau made 38-saves in the loss.

 

Casselman 5 Glengarry 1 – Casselman leads best-of-seven series 1-0

Casselman had goals from Nicolas Elie, Dominic Martin, Makail Poole-Fournier, Alexis Lafrance, and Nicolas Barnes, while Colton Rheaume made 18-saves for the win. Glengarry had their lone tally from Declan McDonald, while Maxime Mayer made 38-saves in the loss.

 

Richmond 3 Athens 0 – Richmond leads best-of-seven series 1-0

Richmond had goals from Nicholas Milbury, Mathew Thompson, and Connor Platt, while Sam Nolan had a 31-save shutout in the victory. Dustin Riff finished with 42-saves for Athens in the losing effort.
