Barkley Cup Playoffs | Ottawa and Carleton Place advance

 

Ottawa, ON – Two games of EOJHL Playoff action on Tuesday night saw both Ottawa and Carleton Place pick up victories to advance to their respective Divisional Finals.

Ottawa 2 Ottawa West 0 – Ottawa wins series 4-1

Nolan DeFazio continued his hot play, scoring both Ottawa goals, while Derrick Champagne made 18-saves for the shutout victory for Ottawa as the Junior Canadians advanced to the Martin Division finals where they will take on the Casselman Vikings. 

 

Carleton Place 4 Renfrew 3 – Carleton Place wins series 4-1

Carleton Place had goals from Carter Dolliver, Joe Devlin, Jake Begin, and William McCulligh, while Charlie Larocque made 35-saves for the victory as Carleton Place advanced to the Richardson Division final where they will face the Richmond Royals. Renfrew had two goals from William Herrick, a single from Connor Jackson, while Lucas Cardiff-Bilodeau made 26-saves in the loss.
