Ottawa, ON – The Ottawa Junior Canadians skated to a hard-fought shutout win in Game 1 of their best-of-seven Barkley Cup Championship series versus Carleton Place on Tuesday night.

Ottawa had goals from Tristan Witmer, Dylan Turcotte, and Reid Greer, while Derrick Champagne posted 22-saves for the shutout win. Charlie Larocque finished with 29-saves in the loss for Carleton Place. Game 2 is set for Saturday night in Carleton Place at 7:30pm.
