Barkley Cup Playoffs | Ottawa West, Carleton Place, and Athens Tuesday winners

 

Ottawa, ON – Three games of EOJHL Playoff action on Tuesday saw victories from Ottawa West, Carleton Place, and Athens.

Ottawa West 5 Ottawa 3 – Ottawa West leads best-of-seven series 1-0

Connor Dickey scored a hat-trick, Jordan Cruz and Justin Murdoch also found the back of the net, while James Cole made 31-saves in the Ottawa West victory. Ottawa had a two-goal effort from Reid Greer, a single from Daniel Beauchemin, while Derrick Champagne made 29-saves in the loss.

 

Carleton Place 4 Renfrew 1 – Carleton Place leads best-of-seven series 2-0

Carleton Place had a two-goal effort from William McCulligh, singles from Jake Begin and Graydon Mears, while Charlie Larocque made 19-saves for the victory. Renfrew had their lone tally from William Herrick, while Lucas Cardiff-Bilodeau made 24-saves in the loss.

 

Athens 4 Richmond 2 – Best-of-Seven Series tied 1-1

Athens had goals from Tanner Hawkins, Tino Imerti, Drew Blevins, and Case Hennessy, while Dustin Riff made 47-saves in the victory. Richmond had goals from Dylan Rorwick and Nicholas Milbury, while Sam Nolan made 27-saves in the losing effort.
