Canadians win their 21st over Alexandria

Ottawa, Ontario – The Ottawa Jr. Canadians (21-1) scored 10-goals for the fourth time this season, beating the Alexandria Glens (8-10-2), 10-1 at the Earl Armstrong Arena on Tuesday night.

Justin Turner scored his first-career hat-trick in a four-point night. He now extends his point-streak to seven-games (8G/7A). Robbie Pickard also collected four-points (1G/3A) for his 12th multi-point game of the season. He now leads the league in scoring with 39 points and is on pace to break the single-season record for points by a defenseman in a season.

Tasso Housakos extended his goal-streak to four-games (9G) after scoring two-goals tonight. He now leads the CCHL2 in goals with 19.

The Canadians out-shot the Glens 56-11 in their seventh straight win. Ottawa’s goal differential is now plus-104 (145 GF-to-41 GA), averaging almost seven goals per-game.
