Carleton Place takes a 3-2 series lead

Ottawa, ON – The Canadians were able regain the series lead after a 4-1 win in game five.

After the Canadians allowed the first goal, they went onto score four unanswered goals. Hisham Barayan netted 1 G / 1 A and Brendan Hill had the game-winning goal in the second-period. Brody Bernard made his first career playoff start and made 45-saves in his second win this post-season.

Brock Boisclair had the only goal in the Westport loss. Alex Zoutis made 44-saves on 48-shots. Game 6 is on Wednesday night inside the Carleton Place Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 8:15pm.
