Ottawa, Ontario – The Central Canada Hockey League Tier 2 is proud to announce it’s CCM Hockey December Performers of the Month. Arnprior Packers player Adam Church takes home the Player of the Month, Arnprior Packers goaltender Cameron Scott is the Goaltender of the Month and forward Zach White of the Brockville Tikis earns the Rookie of the Month award.

POTM: ’99 Adam Church (Arnprior Packers)

Church, 20, scored 8-goals and 4-assists in 6 games in December – totaling on game winning goal and a highlight reel between the legs shorthanded goal on December 6th against Athens. Also on that day, Church picked up his first four-goal game of the season. He also extends his point streak to seven games. During that time, he has nine goals and four assists. The Pakenham, Ontario is in his final year of playing junior hockey and has 11 goals, to go along with 9 assists in 16 games this season. He played for four teams in CCHL Tier 1 throughout his career (Kanata, Brockville, Smiths Falls and Pembroke).

Player of the Month Honorable Mentions:

Char-Lan ’01 Isaac Testani (6 GP, 7 G, 4 A, 11 PTS)

Perth ’00  Matt Berry (6 GP, 6 G, 4 A, 10 PTS)

GOTM: ’99 Cameron Scott (Arnprior Packers)

Scott, 20, leads his team to six wins in the month of December. He was 6-0-1, posting a 2.49 GAA / .929 SV%. He picked up wins against Embrun, Athens, Whitewater twice, Winchester and Perth. During those games, he only allowed one goal against Whitewater twice (Dec 7th & Dec 13th) and Renfrew (Dec 27th). The Franktown, Ontario native is in his final year of junior hockey. Throughout his career, he played with the Perth Blue Wings (2016-2018) where he split starts with Jonathan Peacock. It is also his second season as the starting goalies for Arnprior and is 13-9-1, posting a 3.75 GAA / .904 SV%.

Perth ’99 Alex Zoutis (5-0, 3.11 GAA / .900 SV%)

Richmond ’99 Darien Johnson (4-0, 2.50 GAA / .940 SV%)

ROTM: ’02 Zach White (Brockville Tikis) 

White, 17, tallied two goals, to go along with seven assists in six games for December. He tallied his first game winning goal of the season on December 18th against Embrun in a 4-1 victory. White also netted one goal in his first four-point game of the season. Between November 17th – December 18th, White was on a nine game point streak by tallying three goals and twelve assists. The Brockville, Ontario native is also a Brockville Braves Prospect in the CCHL and collected his first CCHL goal on December 1st. This season, he has 10 goals and 26 assists in 28 games with the Tikis. White will also be turning 18 years old tomorrow.
