Ottawa, Ontario – The CCHL2 is pleased to announce that Paul Fine-Lease is the Player of the Month, Mitchell Rukavina earns the Goalie of the Month and Artyom Shiman takes home the Rookie of the Month.
POTM: ’00 F Paul Fine-Lease (Brockville Tikis)
Fine-Lease, 18, recorded 16 points (7G/9A) in seven games while helping the Tikis to a 6-1-2 record in December. The Plattsburgh, NY native leads Brockville in points (32) and assists (18) this season.

Rukavina, 18, made seven starts in December going 5-2 with a 2.42 GAA & 936 SV %. The Stittsville, ON native made 40 or more saves four times and stopped 30 or more shots in all of his starts last month. He currently holds a record of 9-8-4 while slashing 3.44 GAA / .912 SV %.
