Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League Tier 2 (CCHL2) is pleased to announce the CCM Hockey Performers of the Month for September.
Sean James from the Westport Rideaus is the Player of the Month, William Nguyen of the Embrun Panthers is the Goalie of the Month, while Colin Stacey of the Brockville Tikis is the Rookie of the Month.
PLAYER OF THE MONTH | SEAN JAMES
The 2002 born Almonte, ON native totaled 11 points (6G, 5A) in just 5 games of action in September, placing him first overall among all CCHL2 skaters in Points. The rookie skater had three multi-point games, including two four-point games in which he picked up hat tricks, as he helped Westport to a 4-1-0-0 record.
GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH | WILLIAM NGUYEN
The 2002 born Ottawa, ON native started all four games for Embrun in September, posting a 2-2-0-0 record, with a .952 SV%, and 1.75GAA. His 240 minutes of playing time led all goaltenders, while his 154 Saves placed him second.
ROOKIE OF THE MONTH | COLIN STACEY
The 2002 born Greely, ON native totaled 10 points in 5 games of action in September for the Tikis, leading all CCHL2 skaters with 7 goals. The power-forward had three multi-point performances, including a huge 5 point (3G, 2A) game Vs Alexandria as he helped Brockville to a 3-2-0-0 record.
