Ottawa, ON – EOJHL action continued Tuesday with two games on the schedule as Arnprior visited Ottawa and Renfrew traveled to Carleton Place.
Arnprior 6 – Ottawa 3
The Arnprior Packers powered past the Ottawa Jr. Canadians with a 6-3 road win Tuesday night.
Carter Downs led the way with a hat trick and an assist, while Ethan Smith chipped in a pair of goals and Jackson Taylor added a goal and two helpers. Luke Going, Jacob Perreault, and Leonardo Matteucci provided the offense for Ottawa.
In goal, Tristan Hodgson stood tall with a 40-save performance for Arnprior. Darcy Murphy made 22 saves for Ottawa in the loss.
Renfrew 6 – Carleton Place 4
The Renfrew Timberwolves used a big third period to pull away from Carleton Place in a 6-3 victory.
Preston Charron paced the attack with a goal and two assists, while Colton Vereyken and Logan Fleury each added power play markers. Jacob Lalande, Nathan Pederson, and Daxton Markwick, who also scored short-handed, rounded out the offense.
Adamo Ghantous, Byron Box, Will Thompson, and Xavier Goussis replied for Carleton Place. Between the pipes, Dawson Zadorozny stopped 12 shots for Renfrew, while Sebastien Janisch turned aside 20 shots in defeat.
