OTTAWA, ON – The Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League (EOJHL) is excited to announce that Dylan Turcotte of the Ottawa Junior Canadians has been selected as the 2024-25 EOJHL Top Prospect. The recently turned 18-year-old forward has proven himself as one of the most dynamic and talented players in the league this season.
A native of Orleans, Ontario, Turcotte delivered an outstanding performance throughout the 2024-25 campaign, finishing with an impressive 61 points (28 goals, 33 assists) in just 27 games. His exceptional 2.26 points-per-game average led all EOJHL skaters, further cementing his place as one of the top emerging talents in the region. Turcotte’s offensive prowess was on full display with 18 multi-point games this season, showcasing his ability to consistently contribute to his team’s success.
In addition to his stellar performance with the Junior Canadians, Turcotte is currently riding a remarkable 19-game point streak as the team heads into the playoffs, underscoring his exceptional consistency and skill. His all-around play and remarkable hockey IQ have made him one of the most exciting players to watch in the EOJHL.
Turcotte’s talent has also been recognized beyond the EOJHL, as he earned a call-up to the Ontario Hockey League’s (OHL) Peterborough Petes this past weekend, playing in two games with the team. His ability to seamlessly transition to a higher level of competition speaks to his impressive potential and bright future in the sport.
