Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League Announces 2024-25 Season Schedule

 

OTTAWA, ON – The Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League (EOJHL) is thrilled to announce the schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 season. The season kicks off on Tuesday, September 17th, with the Ottawa Junior Canadians hosting the Athens Aeros in what promises to be an exhilarating start to junior hockey action. 

This season, each of the EOJHL’s teams will compete in a 48-game schedule. Teams will play each opponent four times—two games at home and two on the road—ensuring fans across the region get ample opportunity to see their favorite teams in action. 

Highlights of the 2024-25 schedule include: 

Season Opener: Tuesday, September 17th, Ottawa Junior Canadians vs. Athens Aeros

Annual Prospects Game: December 2nd, hosted at the Earl Armstrong Arena, home of the Ottawa Junior Canadians. This event will showcase the league’s top young talent, giving fans a glimpse of the future stars of junior hockey

Annual All-Star Game: January 13th, hosted at the Barbara Ann Scott Arena, home of the Ottawa West Golden Knights. This game will feature the best players from across the league, competing in a showcase of skill and sportsmanship. 

The regular season will wrap up on February 18th, setting the stage for what is sure to be a highly competitive playoff run.
