Embrun Panthers Darrell Campbell Named EOJHL Executive of the Year

Ottawa, ON – The Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League (EOJHL) is pleased to announce that Darrell Campbell of the Embrun Panthers has been named the 2025-26 Executive of the Year, recipient of the George Giroux Memorial Award.

Campbell, who serves as both General Manager and Head Coach of the Panthers, earned the honour following league-wide voting.

A longstanding executive member within the EOJHL, Campbell has been a cornerstone of junior hockey in Eastern Ontario for nearly three decades. His leadership experience spans both the U18 and Junior levels, where he has consistently demonstrated a commitment to player development, program stability, and organizational excellence.

Campbell is no stranger to league recognition. A multiple-time recipient of the EOJHL Coach of the Year Award, he most recently captured the honour in the 2019-20 and 2021-22 seasons. His ability to build competitive teams while maintaining a strong developmental culture has been a defining element of his tenure in Embrun.

During the 2025-26 season, Campbell once again helped guide Embrun on securing its sixth consecutive playoff appearance, a testament to sustained competitiveness and strong organizational leadership.

The George Giroux Memorial Award is presented annually to the league executive who has demonstrated outstanding dedication, leadership, and contribution to their organization and the EOJHL as a whole.

The EOJHL congratulates Darrell and the Embrun Panthers on this well-earned recognition.
