EOJHL Announces December Performers of the Month

OTTAWA, ON – The Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League (EOJHL) is pleased to announce its December Performers of the Month, recognizing outstanding individual performances throughout the month.

Forward – Ethan Smith (Arnprior Packers)

The 2006-born Stittsville, ON native was electric offensively, leading all EOJHL skaters with 10 goals and 25 points in just seven games. Smith’s scoring touch and consistency were key drivers of Arnprior’s offensive success in December.

Defenseman – Jackson Taylor (Arnprior Packers)

The 2008-born Richmond, ON product was a steady presence on the back end, leading all defensemen with 18 points (1G, 17A) in eight games. Taylor’s vision and puck movement played a major role in Arnprior’s transition and power play efficiency.

Goaltender – Jacob Turpin (Winchester Hawks)

The 2009-born Ottawa, ON native delivered an impressive month between the pipes, posting a 3-1-0-0 record, along with a 2.25 goals-against average and a .947 save percentage. Turpin turned aside 161 shots, proving instrumental in Winchester’s December results.

Rookie – Cameron Sheppard (Arnprior Packers)

The 2009-born Stittsville, ON native led all first-year skaters with 21 points (9G, 12A) in eight games. Sheppard’s offensive instincts and pace stood out throughout the month.
