EOJHL Welcomes 72 New Prospects from 2008 Draft Class

The Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League (EOJHL) is proud to welcome 72 talented local prospects to its 14 member clubs following Tuesday evening’s Prospects Draft for 2008-born players.

All selected athletes hail from within the Hockey Eastern Ontario (HEO) region, representing both the HEO AAA and HEO AA leagues.

From the HEO AAA League, players were chosen from five teams: the Eastern Ontario Wild, Ottawa Jr. 67’s, Ottawa Myers Automotive, Ottawa Valley Titans, and Upper Canada Cyclones.

The HEO AA League also saw strong representation, with draftees coming from the Cumberland Jr. Grads, Kanata Blazers, Nepean Raiders, Ottawa Sting, Ottawa Valley Silver Seven, Rideau-St. Lawrence Kings, and Upper Ottawa Valley Aces.

This year’s draft reflects the growing depth of talent across the region and the EOJHL’s ongoing commitment to developing the next generation of junior hockey players.
