Final Standings Tiebreaker

FINAL STANDINGS TIEBREAKER
a) To determine the final regular season standings when teams have equal points, the following system shall determine placement. The team awarded the higher placing when tied with another team shall be the team with:
• Most wins: if wins are tied,
• Regulation plus Overtime Wins, also known as ROW.
• Best record versus the team tied with; if record is equal,
• Goal average as in hereafter described: the formula is GF and GA divided into the GF with the answer expressed as a percentage; the team with the higher percentage will be the higher standing team.
b) To determine the final standings where teams have equal points for the final playoff position:
• The teams will play a complete play-off game to victory at the higher seeded team’s arena based on the league tie-break; if ice is not available, the league may move the game to the other team’s arena or a neutral site.
• The Commissioner’s decision in any dispute is final; and
• There shall be a split gate following normal expenses for ice time and officials.
