Dylan Stacey (Pictued) scored OT winner to defeat OJC.

Ottawa, ON – It was a busy Friday night in CCHL Tier 2. There were five games on tap and all of these games ended by one goal except for Westport and Perth.

F/OT | Char-Lan 4, Arnprior 3

Brennan Markell capped off a four-point performance by scoring the OT Winner and collecting his second hat trick this season. Mathieu Sabourin extends his point streak to three games after tallying 1G / 2A. Auger also had two helpers.

Rivard, Driscoll and Caparelli each had goals for the Packers. Char-Lan out-shot Arnprior 38-30.

Perth 3, Westport 1

Corey Symington would collect the GWG and had two goals on the night. He now has six goals since being acquired from the Blue Wings and 16 on the season. Tyler Murphy would put the game away with the empty net. It would be his first goal this year.

Hugh McHugh had the game tying goal in the final frame. Perth has now won three consecutive games. Westport extends their losing streak to two games.

F/OT | Carleton Place 4, Renfrew 3

The Carleton Place Jr. Canadians were trailing 3-1 after allowing two unanswered goals early in regulation. They would comeback to force OT. Gavin Browne would pick up his first OT Winner this season. Brendan Hill (1G / 1A) had his four multi point game this season.

Andrew McIntyre extended his point streak to nine games after scoring twice and added a helper for a three-point performance. The Timberwolves have now lost three straight games.

F/OT | Alexandria 3, Ottawa 2

Shonwahnonkon Thompson would score the game tying goal in the final minute in regulation to force OT. Dylan Stacey would cap off a two-goal night by scoring the OT Winner. He has 12 goals and 24 points this season. The Glens ended Ottawa’s 10 game winning streak.

Belanger and Turner had the only goals for the Canadians. Ottawa is now 24-1-1 this season while Alexandria picked up their 12th win and go over .500 winning percentage.

F/SO | Winchester 6, Richmond 5

It was a high scoring affair between these two teams. Richmond was leading 4-2 the Winchester would take the lead, but the Royals would tie it up to force OT/SO. Hunter Randall had the shootout winner. Johnson collects two goals and Colby Schroeder had 1G / 2A in his season debut.

Bouley, Arts, and Yates each tally 1G / 1A in the loss. Richmond outshot Winchester 50-33. Winchester are now 2-1 in the month of December.
