Ottawa, ON – It was a busy night in the CCHL Tier 2. One game was close and ended in OT while three other games were blowout wins. There were four games on the night. One game was an exhibition game between Berlin Junior Bears and Whitewater Kings.

Regular Season:

F/OT | Perth 3, Ottawa West 2

With six seconds left in regulation, MacKinnon scored his first goal as a Golden Knight to force OT. Mack Miller scored a highlight-reel goal in overtime to give Perth their 13th win of the season. Greene and Wilson had the other goals for the Blue Wings.

Michael Gallivan extends his point streak to three games after collecting 1G / 1A. Perth went 5-4-1 in November while Ottawa West went 9-3-1 in 13 games this month.

Alexandria 6, Embrun 0

Reggy St-Surin had a two-goal game. Howson and Gibeault each tally 1G / 1A in two-point efforts. Nicholas Rousseau made 32 saves for his second shutout of the year.

Embrun out-shot Alexandria 32-25. The Panthers losing streak is now at four consecutive games.

Ottawa 13, Renfrew 1

Housakos collects 1G / 4A in a five-point performance. Lacroix and Freel each tallied a hat trick plus two helpers.

Ottawa outshot Renfrew 54-26. The Canadians have now won nine straight games and finished with an undefeated record in December. Their only loss came on October 25th.

Brockville 8, Winchester 1

Ryan Glazer and Paul Fine-Lease each tallied 2G / 1A. Glazer has a goal in six consecutive games. Grozelle and Toomey each had three-point nights. It’s the first blowout victory for Brockville all season. Paolo Suppa made 30 saves in his second career win in CCHL2.

Shipclark and Seaman each had 1G / 1A. Brockville out-shot Winchester 55-31.

Exhibition Game:

Berlin 5, Whitewater 2

Tonight marked the first of four games Berlin will be playing around CCHL Tier 2 and Tier 1. Jared Campitelli and Liam Enright were the only two goal scorers in the first two periods.

Berlin would go on to score three unanswered goals after Whitewater tied it. Noack would get the GWG on a 5 on 3 in the second period. Next game for Berlin goes at the Glensgarry Sports Palace when they take on the Alexandria Glens on Saturday night.
