Friday Recap | Five Games

Ottawa, ON – Five games were on tap on a Friday night. Three games involved Richardson Division rival matchups and two from the Martin Division.

F | Carleton Place 9, Arnprior 2

The Canadians set a season high by scoring nine goals in a single game. Their previous was eight goals until Friday night. Lister and Marshall each collect two goals while Carriere (1 G  / 2 A) and Lightfoot (3 A) had three-point nights.

Kealey, Cyr and Hill each got 1 G / 1 A. Carleton Place is now 3-1 with three more games to play in January. Duncan and Bones each register one goal for the Packers. Carleton Place outshot Arnprior 55-25. The Packers are now on a two game losing streak.

F | Perth 7, Renfrew 2

Ty Power had a monstrous night by collecting five assists. He was one point shy of tying his season high in points in a game. Symington and Miller each had 2 G / 1 A. Harris also had 1 G / 1 A while Sharpley and Spencer each tallied one goal.

The Blue Wings are 3-3 in January with one game left which is tomorrow night against Brockville in a rescheduled game. Crozier and Barber each had one goal in the Timberwolves loss. It snaps a three game winning streak.

F | Westport 7, Athens 5

The Rideaus had to comeback from behind against their rivals. Blake Kettyle bounced back with four assists and Rocco Barresti extends his point streak to two games by scoring twice. Seed had a good performance with a goal and two assists in a three-point night.

Matt Berry gets his first career CCHL2 hat trick. He has four goals in his last two games. Olmstead and Birnie each had a goal for Athens. The Aeros have loss six consecutive games since the start of 2019.

F | Ottawa West 6, Alexandria 2

Lucas Brown had an amazing night by scoring his first career CCHL2 hat trick and now has 3 G / 3 A in his last three games. Edwards (1 G / 1 A) and Haymes (2 A) each tallied two points on the night. Golden Knights have won two straight games and end their season series with Alexandria tied with two wins a piece.

Odjick and Miron each collect one goal in the Glens loss, which snaps their four game winning streak. Miron has 4 G / 1 A in his first four games in a Glens uniform and Odjick has 4 G / 4 A in his last four games.

F/OT | Winchester 6, Embrun 5

It was a high scoring affair between these two teams that are trying to get the 5th and final playoff spot in the Martin Division. Johnson collects 2 G / 1 A including the OT winner. He has 3 G / 1 A during his two game point streak. Fleming had two assists while Pare, Meldrum, DeRepentigny and Byrnes-Shaw each collect one goal for the Hawks.

Brosseau scores twice and has four goals in his last five games. Caron collects 1 G / 2 A to extend his point streak to two games after going four games without recording a single point. The Panthers losing is at five games (0-4-1) and Winchester snaps a two game losing streak.
