Ottawa, Ontario – Friday night in the EOJHL witness a busy night with five games. The two Richardson Division matchups featured Perth hosting Whitewater and Smiths Falls against Arnprior. The Martin Division had Embrun hosting Char-Lan, Richmond vs Alexandria and Ottawa West vs Winchester.

Perth 11, Whitewater 1

Perth was able to bounce back with a convincing win over Whitewater. Lleyton McLean leads the way with a hat trick and four assists for seven points. Ouellette had 1G / 3A, Foley 1G / 2A and Carson (2G). Other notible players that got on the scoresheet with goals were Woolsey, Johnston, St. Amand and Salter. James Cole made 23 saves in the win.

Lyons had Whitewater’s only goal in the loss. Shots were 54-24 for Perth.

Smiths Falls 5, Arnprior 2

The undefeated streak for Arnprior comes to an end with Smiths Falls coming out on top. Cody Sinclair scores twice while Parker and Williamson collect 1G / 1A. Evan Nauth collected his first goal of the season which turns out to be the game winner. Sicoli also added two assists. Matthew Saari made 21 saves for his fourth win this year.

Tyson Verch and Landon brooks collect goals in the Arnprior loss. Smiths Falls outshot Arnprior 33-23.

Embrun 6, Char-Lan 3

Embrun scores four unanswered goals in the third to complete the comeback against Char-Lan. Maxime Paquette scores twice while Patenaude and Riley MacDonald each tallied two assists. The other goal scorers were Blanchard, McDonell, Belanger and Gregoire. Embrun goes 1-for-1 on the power play and Cooper Lennon made 23 saves in the win.

Esford, Chenier and St-Jean each tallied one goal in the loss. Embrun outshot Char-Lan 43-26 as they snap a 0-2-2 streak.

Richmond 5, Alexandria 0

The Richmond Royals have stayed hot by winning their fourth straight game. Gabe Arrigo made 37 saves for his first shutout this season. Tyler Hames collects 2G / 1A for three points while Dylan Rorwick and Ryan Sullivan each tally multi-point games with 1G / 1A. Jackson Miller also collected his fourth goal this season.

Richmond goes 3-for-4 on the man advantage and outshot Alexandria 50-37. Jason Van Wieran made 45 saves for Alexandria.

Winchester 3, Ottawa West 2 (SO)

Winchester was able to hang on for s shoot win over Ottawa West. Lucas Leblanc collects the shootout winner. Lucas Filion and Kyle Filion collected goals for Winchester. Lucas Filion’s goal in the first period was his first EOJHL goal. Xavier Dusablon makes 48 saves in back-to-back games and wins his third straight start.
