Friday Recap | Six Games

Ottawa, ON – Six games were on tap on a busy Friday night which saw 12 teams in action.

F | Arnprior 6, Athens 4

The Packers were trailing 4-2 and found a way to score four unanswered goals to take one of three straight games against Athens. Pat Bones collects one goal and three helpers on the night. Caparelli scored twice and Jardine had three assists.

Athens forward Servage registered 2G / 1A in a three point night. He extends his point streak to five games. The Packers snap a three game losing skid.

F | Perth 9, Renfrew 2

The Blue Wings saw Ty Power collect 2G / 1A with his new team. Harris and Spencer would each register three points. Wilson, MacKechnie, Symington and Sharpley each tally 1G / 1A in a multi-point night. Perth snaps a two game losing streak.

Richardson had 1G / 1A and McIntyre with two helpers. The Timberwolves have lost two consecutive games and have allowed 17 goals during that time.

F | Ottawa 5, Alexandria 2

The Canadians have now won four consecutive games. Pickard picks up 2G / 1A while Turner and Saumur each had 1G / 1A. Whitehurst makes 26 saves in his 19th win of the season.

Dylan Stacey collects the two only goals for Alexandria. They snap a streak of six games where they had at least one point or better.

F | Brockville 7, Westport 3

The Tikis load up on the scoreboard by tallying seven goals against a top team in the Richardson Division. Tyler Toomey sets a careeer high with 2G / 3A in a five point night. Same with Glazer but he collects 2G / 2A in a four point game. Hunter had three assists and Boucha registered 1G / 1A.

Jeff Hyndman and Boisclair would had a multi point effort in the Rideaus loss. The Tikis have scored 15 goals in their last two games and have won three consecutive games.

F | Embrun 5, Char-Lan 4

The Panthers had to come from behind in the third period to secure their 11th win this season. Jeremy Cyr had 1G / 2A and Brown tallies two goals. Njima and Rossides were the other goal scorers for Embrun.

Evan Huntley collects 2G / 1A in their loss that night. Panthers have won three straight games while the Rebels are on a three game losing skid.

F | Ottawa West 2, Winchester 0

It was a fantastic performance by Winchester Hawks goaltender Brent Pledge-Dickson. He made 48 saves on 49 shots and allowing one goal in this game. Michael Gallivan got the Golden Knights on the board early in the final frame. He has five GWG’s this year.

Max Bush collects 1G / 1A in a multi point game. Miguel Daoust made 13 saves for his first career regular season shutout. The last time he shutout an opponent was in the playoffs two years ago against Winchester. He was playing with Clarence when they had a team that year.
