Glens force game three with Miron’s overtime winner

Ottawa, Ontario – Cedryk Miron’s overtime winner gave the Alexandria Glens a game-two 4-3 win over the Char-Lan Rebels on Thursday night at the Char-Lan Recreational Center.

The Glens force game three, which will be a do or die game on Friday night in Alexandria. The winner will love onto the Martin Division Semi Finals against the Ottawa Jr. Canadians.

Dylan Stacey had two assists, while Reggy St-Surin, Maverick Baxtrom and Tobias Commanda-Ojick scored. The shots were even 28-28 in the win.

Brennan Markell scored his second of the post-season. Mathieu Sabourin tied it midway through the third. The Rebels had taken an early 2-0 lead but lost it, as the Glens went onto score three unanswered goals. In the loss, Char-Lan went 2-6 on the power-play.

Both teams have lost on home ice in this series.
