Ottawa, ON – In the lone Thursday night EOJHL contest, the Smiths Falls Jr Bears started off the new year with a big win over Ottawa West.

Timothy Bourne scored twice, Caleb Bourne, Baron Gleason, Billy Tsarouhas, and Wade Boudrias added singles, while Warren Halpenny made 30-saves in the Smiths Falls victory. Ottawa West had goals from Matthew Stringer and Ryland Landon in the loss.
