Ottawa, Ontario – The Central Canada Hockey League Tier 2 is proud to announce it’s winners for the Jeff O’Neil Award. The award signifies a player who shows both a dedication to education and a commitment to their hockey team.
The winner from the Martin Division is Ottawa West Golden Knights forward, Raphael Lecours.
Lecours, 19, played 40 games with the Golden Knights during the course of the season. He scored 27 goals and tallied 23 assists in those 40 games.
The winner from the Richardson Division is Perth Blue Wings forward, Marc-Andre Leblanc
Leblanc, 21, played 46 games with the Perth Blue Wings this season. He scored 22 goals and tallied 18 assists in those 46 games played.
Each of the winners receive a $1500 bursary as part of winning the award. Each of the winners will receive these awards at Game 4 of the CCHL2 Barkley Cup Finals in Carleton Place on Wednesday April 11th in Carleton Place.
