OTTAWA, ON – The Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League is pleased to announce that Alex Beaulne of the Carleton Place Jr Canadians is the Week 14 Source for Sports Player of the Week.
The 2006 born Nepean, ON native posted a perfect 2-0-0 record, stopping 56 shots as he picked up 2 shutout victories for the Jr Canadians this past week. During a home-and-home series against the Perth Blue Wings, Beaulne had a 34-save shutout in the Jr Canadians 2-0 victory Friday night before making 22-saves in their 3-0 victory on Saturday night.
On the season, Beaulne has a 6-6-2-0 record with a 4.21 GAA and 2 Shutouts. He has won four straight starts.
