The Ottawa Jr Canadians continued their strong start to the Martin Division Semi-Final Tuesday night, defeating the Ottawa West Golden Knights 6–3 to take a commanding 2–0 lead in the best-of-seven series. After winning Game 1 convincingly, Ottawa once again controlled the pace offensively while getting another steady performance in goal from Jackson Curran.

Ottawa opened the scoring early in the first period when Danik Marion buried his second goal of the playoffs at 4:15, finishing a pass from Maxime Carriere. The Jr Canadians doubled their lead midway through the frame as Dax McKinnon converted a setup from Carter Laforest and Luke Going.
Ottawa West answered late in the period on the power play when Justin Murdoch finished a play from Thomas Dickey and Andrew Colley to cut the deficit to 2–1 heading into the intermission.
The Jr Canadians regained momentum early in the second. Sydney Loreto extended the lead on the power play at 3:24, converting a pass from Marion with Laforest collecting his second assist of the night. Ottawa West responded later in the frame when Gavin McCarthy scored off feeds from Max Shewfelt and Antonio Zito to bring the Golden Knights back within one.
Ottawa created separation in the third period. Riley Bloom restored the two-goal cushion at 9:33 after finishing a passing play from Mattias Côté and Jacob Perreault. Minutes later, Côté added another on the power play, again with Perreault and Bloom factoring in on the play to push the lead to 5–2.
Ottawa West added a late power-play goal from Dominik Lemieux with just under three minutes remaining, but Sam Glover sealed the win with an empty-net marker at 19:13.
Jackson Curran earned the victory with 23 saves on 26 shots, while Dustin Riff stopped 34 shots for Ottawa West.
With the win, Ottawa takes a 2–0 series lead in the Martin Division Semi-Final.
