Ottawa, ON – There were three games on a special Family Day in the CCHL Tier 2.
F | Winchester 6, Richmond 2
Brady Meldrum and Danny Johnson each tally two goals while Isaac Kelly added three assists to snap the Hawks three game losing streak. Lucas Devries made 39-saves in his third victory.
Patrick Yates collects the only two goals in the Royals loss. Richmond’s losing streak is now at four games and are 1-5 in the final month of the season.
F | Westport 5, Brockville 1
Brock Boisclair and Griffin Patterson each netted two goals. Blake Kettyle extends his point-streak to 14 games with three assists. He has 11 goals and 16 assists during that time. The Rideaus went 2-for-4 on the power play and extend their winning-streak to two games. They are 6-1-1 in the month of February.
Ryan Hunter had the only goal in the Tikis loss. Alex Zoutis makes 35-saves for his 15th win this year.
F | Perth 7, Athens 1
Trent Harris and Mack Miller each netted two goals. Miller’s point-streak is at two games with 2 G / 2 A. Ryan Bonfield and Shance Spencer also added 1 G / 1 A. Quattrochi and Symington also had two helpers. The Blue Wings are 4-0-1 in their last five games.
Andrew McKenney registers the only goal in the 3rd period for Athens. The Aeros are 2-10-1 in the second half of the season.
