Ottawa, Ontario – Winchester took on Ottawa West in an entertaining matchup, while the other matchups featured Richmond vs Casselman and Westport vs Perth.

Winchester 4, Ottawa West 3 SO

The Winchester Hawks showed lots of character by coming back down 3-0 to score three goals in the third to force extra time. Brayden Potvin, Kyle Filion and Noel de Kemp all had goals in the third period. Noel de Kemp kept the game alive by scoring in the third round of the shootout. Winchester’s Captain Colby Schroeder scores the shootout winner to give Winchester their 20th win this season.

Jack Haymes scores twice for 22 goals and Jared Brush had his 6th of the year as Ottawa West loses two straight games for the second time all season. Xavier Dusablon made 39 saves in the win while Jordan Provost made 25 saves. Shots were 42-29 for Ottawa West.

Casselman 4, Richmond 3 

Casselman scores three unanswered goals in the third to collect a huge win. Mathieu Talbot scores twice while Lassenba and Borgia each collect one goal. Zachari Racine made 24 saves for his 14th win this season. The Vikings are 4-1 in their last five games.

Willem Brandt, Curran Gilmour and Robbie Disilvestro were the goal scorers in the Richmond loss. Both teams had one power play goal. Shots were 37-27 for Casselman.

Westport 6, Perth 2

The Westport RIdeaus played their best game of the season by defeating a top team in the Richardson Division. Denver Craig tallied two goals for a three point night. Jack Chiarello and Kyle Dagg joined in on the score sheet by collecting three points. Lundren, MacMillan and Craig were the other goal scorers for Westport. They went 2-for-4 on the power play. Nathaniel Boyes made 30 saves in the win.

Trent Harris and Will Mierau had the goals for Perth. Perth went 1-for-5 on the power play. Shots were 42-32 for Westport. The RIdeaus have won three straight games and four of their last five games.
