Morning Recap | Brockville and Arnprior pick up wins on Wednesday night

Ottawa, ON – There were two games on a Wednesday night. Richmond traveled to Brockville to face off against the Tikis and Alexandria took on Arnprior at the Nick Smith Centre.

Brockville 8, Richmond 4

The Brockville Tikis are now 3-1-1 in their last five games and they’ve also picked up their 7th win this season. Ryan Glazer collects his first career natural hat trick but Colin Stacey leads the way by tallying one goal and six assists in his first career seven point game. He currently has 14 goals and 12 assists in 13 games.

Adam Goodfellow scores twice for Richmond in the loss. Darien Johnson 75 saves sets a new CCHL Tier 2 record for most saves in a game. Last year, Brent Pledge-Dickson made 66 saves in a win over Westport. Brockville outshot the Royals 83-33. The Tikis 83 shots in a game sets a new CCHL Tier 2 record for most shots in a game. Last year, Westport collected 67 shots against Winchester on December 1st 2018.

Arnprior 4, Alexandria 3

The Packers were trailing 3-0 during the second period and were able to score four unanswered goals for their 6th win this season. They’re also on a two game winning streak and have outscored their opponents 11-to-6 during that time. James Buckley (1 G / 2 A) scored the game winning goal late in the third period.

Andy Lightle-Blais, Jacob Lefebvre and Graham Robertson were the goal scorers for Alexandria. They finished the month of October with a 1-6-1 record. There only win came against Renfrew on October 25th. Cameron Scott made 28 saves for his 5th win this year.
