Morning Recap | Casselman and Renfrew complete comeback victories

Ottawa, Ontario – There were one game on Tuesday night featuring a Martin Division rival match-up between Casselman and Ottawa. Last night, the match-up featured a Richardson Division match-up between Renfrew and Brockville.

F/OT | Casselman 4, Ottawa 3 (Tuesday)

The Ottawa Canadians were leading 3-1 with under two minutes left and Casselman was able to score two unanswered goals from Jason Cossette on even strength and Shawn Patterson with 11 seconds left in regulation. Francois Drouin was able to get the OT winner and his 5th game winner this season.

Mikael Houle also picked up the first goal for Casselman back in the second period. Nicolas Seguin got his third consecutive three-point game with 1 G / 2 A in the Ottawa loss. The shots in the game were 23-22 for Ottawa.

Renfrew 4, Brockville 3 (Wednesday)

The Timberwolves were down 2-0 early in the second period and were able to score four unanswered goals. Renfrew gets their 11th victory of the season and are 4-1 in November. Noah Maika and Nolan McGregor each collected 1 G / 1 A. Zach Martin was able to get the game winner early in the third period.

Tyler Toomey has a goal in four consecutive games and is also on a four game point streak by collecting 1 G / 1 A in the Tikis loss. They snap their three game winning streak. Brockville’s power play was 1-for-3 in the game.
