Morning Recap | Char-Lan defeats Brockville to get their record to .500 on Wednesday

Ottawa, Ontario – The Char-Lan Rebels (10-10-1) were at the Brockville Memorial Centre on Wednesday night to take on the Brockville Tikis (13-9-1) in a critical match-up.

Char-Lan 4, Brockville 3

The Rebels were able to score two unanswered goals to start the third period and were able to get their 10th win of the season. Isaac Testani continues to stay hot as he collected 1 G / 1 A and extending his point streak to six games. Kale MacCormick also had a good performance offensively with 1 G / 1 A.

Tyler Toomey also continued to stay hot for the Tikis as he now has a goal in six consecutive games and now has 11 goals on the season. Brad Arnott also had the other goal for Brockville. Francesco Sicoli (U18 Brockville) made his Tikis debut as an AP and got an assist during the game. The other AP who had an assist tonight was Disipio back in the second period.

Nicholas Ciccarelli was excellent in between the pipes by making 42 saves but on the losing effort. The Rebels out-shot Brockville 46-28. Char-Lan plays Casselman this upcoming Saturday but the Tikis travel to the Jr Brisson Complex tonight to play Casselman.
