Morning Recap | Embrun takes down Ottawa in OT

Ottawa, ON – Only one game was happening in CCHL Tier 2 on Tuesday night where the Embrun Panthers traveled to the Earl Armstrong Arena to face against the Ottawa Canadians.

The Panthers pick up their ninth win this season and have won five of their last six games. Eric Skyba was able to pick up the OT winner and his second of the season. He currently has a two game goal streak. Also has four points in his first 11 games this season.

Robert Beaudoin also stepped up offensively by collecting two points. He also extends his goal streak to four games by potting in his 10th of the year. Cyr, Taillifer and Gregoire also tallied one goal during the game. Embrun outshot Ottawa 39-31.

Noel de Kemp and Antonio Silenu each netted two goals in the loss for Ottawa. They are now 0-1-1 in their last two games after winning seven straight games to start the year. Conor Corrigan made 34 saves in his first OT loss this season.
