Morning Recap | OJC finishes the week with a win against Carleton Place

Ottawa, Ontario – Originally, there were five games on the schedule on Saturday night, but four of the five games were postponed due to poor weather conditions and those games will be rescheduled to a later date.

The games that were postponed were: Renfrew vs Westport, Brockville vs Whitewater, Alexandria vs Athens and Winchester vs Char-Lan. The only game that is on the schedule tonight was a big matchup between the Ottawa Jr. Canadians and Carleton Place Jr. Canadians.

The Ottawa Jr. Canadians extended their winning streak to five games on Saturday night. Nicolas Seguin collected two goals in the first period while McGregor (1 G / 1 A) and Silenu (2 A) also tallied two points as they now sit first place in the league.

Will Fitzsimmons was another guy that kept his hot streak going with three assists and now has a three game point streak with two goals and four assists. Stef Hawkins, Spencer Marshall and Connor Nicoll all netted one goal in the loss. Carleton Place outshot Ottawa 30-19.
