Ottawa, Ontario – It was busy Friday night in CCHL Tier 2 action as there were six games on the schedule where at this point of the season, there are a lot of division rival match-ups.

Perth 4, Char-Lan 3

Carso Kazda and Mack Miller each collected two goals as the Perth Blue Wings were able to break their six game losing streak in the final minute of regulation. Justin Salter also contributed by collecting two assists. Alex Zoutis also made 32 saves for his 8th win of the season.

Joseph Samson had three assists to extend his point streak to three games. The Rebels outshot Perth 35-32. Tyler Branchaud (COR U18) was also able to score his first CCHL2 goal while Konink and MacDonald each netted one goal.

Brockville 5, Arnprior 1

It was a great night for the Tikis as they were able to extend their winning streak to three games. Matteo Disipio (BRO U18) got his first career CCHL2 goal while Toomey (1 G / 1 A), Hardy (2 A), White (1 G / 1 A) and Arabe (2 A) all tallied two points. Nicholas Ciccarelli got the start and made 37 saves for his 4th victory of the season.

The Packers struggle continues as they have now loss six consecutive games. Kade Leggett had the only marker for Arnprior.

Ottawa West 4, Alexandria 1

The Ottawa West Golden Knights are now in soul possession at 1st place in the league standings and in the Martin Division. Jack Haymes (2 G) along with Sean Kearns (2 A) each extended their point streaks to 10 games. Keon Troccoli-Roik would end up getting game winner coming on the power play. The Golden Knights power play was 2-for-4 on the night.

They also extend their winning streak to nine games. Kyle Joly had the only goal back in the first period for Alexandria. William McEvoy also made 21 saves for his 8th win of the season.

Embrun 6, Richmond 3

The Panthers offense bounced back after only potting one goal on Thursday night against Ottawa West. Tristian Taillefer leads his team offensively by collecting 1 G / 2 A in a three-point night. He also extends his point streak to three games. Cayden Martin, Marshall Drevniok and Eric Skyba all netted one goal in a multi-point game.

Ryan Mann collected two points with 1 G / 1 A in the loss. Embrun outshot Richmond 41-25. Josh Paradis made his second appearance in net for Embrun and was able to stop 22 shots in his second win in CCHL2.

Westport 5, Renfrew 2

Westport was able to bounce back to a big victory at the Ma-te-way Center on Friday night. It was after the Rideaus suffered a tough loss to the Ottawa Canadians. Tye Carswell collected two goals while Boisclair and Ieradi netted one goal in a multi-point night.

Nolan Mcgregor and Dylan Kuehl each contributed with one goal in the Renfrew loss. The TImberwolves snap their two game losing streak.

Ottawa 5, Winchester 2

The Canadians were able to extend their winning streak to two games and have won four of their last five games. Nicolas Seguin contributed offensively with two goals and one assist. Noel de Kemp added three assists and Carter put up two assists on the back end.

Griffin McGregor would eventually pick up the game winner late in the third period. McGregor now has five goals to go along with two game winning goals this season. Kyle Kuehni and Eric Vitale had the only goals in the Winchester loss. Shots were 52-43 in favor of Ottawa.
