Jackson Pundyk made a whopping 54-saves to keep Perth in the game and a late goal by Lane Morency with just 58 seconds remaining would seal the victory for the Blue Wings. Connor Janveau also tallied a goal for the Blue Wings who improved to 3-2-0-0 on the season. Ottawa had their lone tally from captain Danik Marion, while Derrick Champagne finished with 24-saves in the losing effort.
