Ottawa, ON – Casselman’s offence exploded on Friday night as the Vikings rolled to an 8–2 road victory over Carleton Place, capping off a dominant performance at the Carleton Place Arena.

Téo Webb opened the scoring midway through the first period, followed by an Owen Mann marker just over two minutes later to give Casselman early control. In the second period, the Vikings took over completely with five goals — including tallies from Casey Hayward, Alexis Lafrance, Mathieu Cloutier, and Marc-Olivier McCarthy, while Noah Green and Adamo Ghantous responded for the Jr. Canadians.

Casselman added two more in the third courtesy of Kaleb Fogarty and Taige Soneji, both on the power play, sealing the win in convincing fashion.

McCarthy led the way with a three-point night (1G, 2A), while Lafrance, Soneji, Cloutier, and Webb each had multi-point efforts. Myles Boudreau turned aside 21 of 23 shots for the win.

For Carleton Place, Callum Clare faced a barrage of 58 shots, making 50 saves in the loss.
