The Ottawa Jr Canadians (25-2-1) got back into the win column on Tuesday night with a decisive 8-0 victory over the Arnprior Packers (12-10-2-1) at Earl Armstrong Arena.
Thirteen different Jr Canadiens made it onto the score-sheet tonight. Noel Moses de Kemp (16, 17) Johnny Pickering (13, 14) and Justin Turner (16, 17) all lit the lamp twice in a great offensive effort.
Meanwhile Connor Corrigan was great between the pipes once again for Ottawa making 29 saves for his first career CCHL2 shutout. He also improves his record to 9-0-0 on the season and bumping up his goals against average to 2.11.
Next up for the Packers is a date with the Brockville Tikis on Friday night as they look to bounce back from tonight’s defeat. Meanwhile for the Jr Canadiens they will look to continue this fantastic first half of the season as they will also be taking on that same Brockville squad tomorrow night from the Brockville Memorial Centre.
