OJC wins 19th, defeating OWGK 8-1 on Tuesday

Ottawa, Ontario – The Ottawa Jr. Canadians (19-1) defeated the Ottawa West Golden Knights (11-6-1) on Tuesday night at the Earl Armstrong Arena.

Tasso Housakos led the way for the Canadians with three points (2G/1A) while Justin Turner scored twice and Eric Murphy netted 1G/1A. Jacob Ramalho made his first appearance in over a year, picking up two assists. He played in the OHL with the Mississauga Steelheads in the 2016-17 season.

The Canadians extend their winning streak to five games. During their streak, they’ve outscored 33-to-5.

The Golden Knights have their four-game winning streak snapped with the loss. They were outshot 31-29 by Ottawa and are now 1-1 against OJC this season. These two teams meet again on January 22nd.
