OWGK break OJC’s undefeated streak on Thursday

Ottawa, Ontario – The Ottawa West Golden Knights gave the Ottawa Jr. Canadians their first loss of the 2018-19 season, 4-1, on Thursday night at the Barbara Ann Scott Arena.

The Ottawa Golden Knights were leading 3-1 after two and sealed the deal in the third when Sean Kearns scored a breakaway goal. The Canadians suffer their first loss of the year (14-1) while the Golden Knights improve to 6-4-1.

Miguel Daoust made 38 saves in the win. Max Bush, Stef Mellios, Marco Haw and Sean Kearns scored for Ottawa West as they extended their home winning streak to three games.
