Packers and Blue Wings Complete Blockbuster Deal

Ottawa, Ontario – The Perth Blue Wings acquired ’98 F Ty Power from the Arnprior Packers in exchange for ’99 D Jacob Cover and a PDF on Wednesday January 3rd, 2019.

Power, 20, is in his fifth and final season of junior hockey and now suits up for his fifth team in his CCHL2  career. Power appeared in 27 games with the Packers totaling 12 goals and 28 points. The Ottawa, Ontario native currently ranks eighth in the CCHL2 in points (41) and fourth in assists (27).

Cover, 19, joins his third CCHL2 team after starting his career with Brockville and playing parts of two seasons in Perth. The Ottawa, Ontario native scored nine points (4G/5A) in 27 games with the Blue Wings prior to the trade.
