OTTAWA, ON – The Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League is pleased to announce that Mavric Welk of the Arnprior Packers has been named the Week 17 Source for Sports Player of the Week.
The 2005 born native of Golden Lake, ON finished with a perfect 2-0-0 this past week, only allowing 4 goals on 86 shots. He made 41-saves in Arnprior’s Friday night road victory over the Perth Blue Wings before adding another 41-save effort in the Packers 3-2 home victory Sunday night against the Glengarry Brigade.
