Perth, Casselman, Westport each win game four and OJC leads series 3-0

Ottawa, ON – The Perth Blue Wings and Casselman Vikings each picked up 3-1 series lead. Westport ties the series at 2 and OJC has a 3-0 strangle hold in the series.

F | Perth 8, Brockville 3 

Jordan Currie (1 G / 2 A), Ty Power (1 G / 2 A) and Shane Spencer (2 G / 1 A) each tally three points for Perth in their game four victory and now lead the series 3-1. Redmond, MacKechnie, Murphy and Symington all netted one goal. Jonathan Peacock made 25-saves in the win.

Jordan Yaremchuk was pulled after the first period, allowing 4 goals on 14 shots and Brayden Kelso made 17 saves on 21 shots in relief. Game five goes Tuesday March 12th inside Perth Arena where the Blue Wings will have an opportunity to win the series.

F | Casselman 2, Ottawa West 1 

Evan Boucher had the first goal on the power-play for Casselman and Samuel Labre would eventually get the game-winning-goal. Mathieu Chenier made 31 saves on 32 shots in his first career CCHL2 playoff start. The Vikings now lead the series 3-1.

Justin Jamer picks up his 3rd goal of the playoffs and his fifth point of this series in the Golden Knights loss. Mitchell Bown made 34-saves in an another incredible performance. Game five goes Tuesday March 12th in Casselman with the Golden Knights season on the line.

F | Ottawa 5, Char-Lan 3 

The Canadians and Rebels were tied 3-3 heading into the third period. Raphael Lecours picks up the GWG and Mateo Belanger added some insurance with his first goal of the playoffs. Turner, Dobson and Giordano all had the other goals for OJC.

Mathieu Sabourin scores twice while Grant Craig got his first career goal as a goalie in the first period. Ottawa has a 3-0 in the series and will have a chance to wrap it up this afternoon in Williamstown with a 3:00pm start.

F | Westport 5, Carleton Place 1 

The Rideaus score the first five goals of game four to even up the series against Carleton Place. Anthony Ieradi collects two goals while Boisclair and Kettyle netted 1 G / 1 A. Will Searle also had the other goal for Westport. Alex Zoutis made 29-saves in his second playoff win.

Bill Gourgon had his third goal of the playoffs in the Canadians loss. Westport outshot Carleton Place 39-30. Game five goes Monday night inside the Westport Community Arena.
