Perth moves onto the Barkley Cup Finals and OJC ties their series

Ottawa, ON – The Perth Blue Wings completed the sweep against Carleton Place to move onto the Barkley Cup Finals  and Ottawa bounces back against Casselman with a 6-1 victory.

F/OT | Perth 5, Carleton Place 4 | PER wins series 4-0

The Perth Blue Wings score three unanswered goals in the third to force OT. Ty Power had two goals with one shorthanded with 1:05 left in regulation. He now has six goals and ten assists in the post-season. Ryan Bonfield had the game winning goal to win the Richardson Division Finals.

Mack Miller also had an amazing performance -collecting one goal and two assists in a three-point afternoon. The Blue Wings move to the championship series for the first time since 2015-2016 when they lost in five games against Casselman.

Ethan Woolsey had two goals while Marshall and Carriere tallies the other goals for Carleton Place. Congratulations to Ethan Wardman on playing your final game with the Carleton Place organization.

Once again the road team comes victorious in game four. Raphael Lecours leads the way two goals in a three-point night. Thomas Freel continues to contribute by getting the game winning goals. Pickard, Lacroix, Turner, Giordano and de Kemp also added two points in the win.

Ryan Whitehurst bounces back with 40 saves on 41 shots. The Vikings out-shot Ottawa 41-39. Jarrett Williams collects the only goal for Casselman. He now has two goals inside the Jr Brisson Complex in the series. It is now a best of three series with game five happening on Tuesday night at the Earl Armstrong Arena.
