Perth now leads the series 3-1 after a Double OT win

Ottawa, ON – Game 4 shifted back inside the Perth Arena on Monday night where the Perth Blue Wings defeated the Ottawa Canadians, 3-2, in double OT to lead the series 3-1.

Mack Miller put on a fantastic performance – scoring twice on the power-play. He now has nine goals during the post-season. Ty Power would score the double OT winner and now has the GWG in back-to-back games. He is riding an 11 game point-streak with 10-goals and 12-assists.The only game that he didn’t get a point was in Game 2 against Brockville.

Jonathan Peacock once again had a tremendous performance by making 50-saves on 52-shots. Nicholas Seguin and Jacob Ramalho picked up the only goals for Ottawa. Their power play was 1-for-8 and Perth’s PP was 2-for-5.

The Blue Wings are now 33.8% on the power play which ranks first in the post-season while Ottawa’s is 22.1% in 4th. Game 5 takes place tonight inside the Earl Armstrong Arena where Perth will look for their first championship since 1996 (in EOJHL days).
